Flicks & movies are something you see as escapism &
entertainment Today they are often little more than bits in
the adverStream..
I use the word cinema to designate the art of the motion picture
& My S2
term 'synema'
is in this respect, but with the added notion of designating
films which I feel specifically stimulate higher levels of
thought & that form abstractions in the unconscious &
subconscious related to synergetic integrations of humankind
within the total heirarchy of existence.
The 'syn' root is from the words synapse & synergy.
These films I list here are those which have stimulated my
synapses & that I feel helped with the creative processes
that led to this Viridian REVELution art work. A couple of
books that may help you appreciate what I feel is the best
use of the cinema are "Film As Art" by Rudolf Arnheim
& Theology Through Film by Neil Hurley.
