"Hyper-Reality" & Verite' TV are new genres I'm creating to take advantage of the exponential possibilities afforded by the cinema, television & Internet mediums. Exponential powers & possibilities are needed to accomplish our mission of saving what's left of the planet from unconsciously consuming humans.

     We will call much of our completed media "ProperGander"because it is in support of the causes set forth in our REVELutionary charter. Produced by our MediaCorps, our programming attacks with the sword of comedy & the head-butt of integrated cosmology.. Don't worry, I intend to keep you laughing so hard that you won't have to figure out what that means.

    Viridian "Verite' TV" goes beyond reality television to "Hyper-Reality" television. Verite' TV is the REVELution's homage to & re-mix of:
cinema verite' .

    However,  "Hyper-Reality" twists this forgotten genre of film history through the proverbial looking glass to become a new genre of multi-media Interactivity with embedded A.V. sampling & a blend of fiction & reality that can only be characterized by new terms.

    I recently invented a more descriptive & perhaps more marketable term for this:- hybri-reality T.V.

    Although the intention of my programming is advancing the Viridian cause, my scripts contain the pleasure-producing & storytelling elements that modern audiences expect from their leisure time entertainments. Hyper-reality also includes audience interactivity. The audience is forced to ponder which are real & which are fictional characters in the mdia mix they are being fed.

    Embedded marketing is also sublimated to further the REVELution's cause of "War on War" by waging "PeaceFair" & provides additional revenue streams & the capability to reach demographics who shun traditional advertising."

    The first T.V. series & feature films I have written for my genre are registered with The Writer's Guild, & available for discussion under non-disclossure agreements.

   My HyperReality T.V. project differs greatly from the feature film I'm about to describe in that it is very similar in appearance & style to a popular trend in current 'reality television. My "Hybri-Reality" show requires nothing for the average viewer to grasp & includes an interactive embedded marketing concept. This project only requires a meager budget to ramp-up & produce.

    The book & feauture film I have written & begun producing, I will discuss more openly, because it is not a high concept & as easily capable of being imitated. The feature is also so idiosyncratic that there is doubtfully anyone who'd want to steal it. It's therefore up to me to produce what will be, if nothing else, an extremely original work of audio-visionary material.

    Yes, it's original except for the fact that it's an homage to Joseph Conrad's Heart Of Darkness by way of being a tribute to Copola's "Apocalypse Now" & a genuflection before the work of Jean Luc Godard. =->

    These venerations are remixed with my generation's art of sampling. The script I've written for this venture has solidified in my mind a vision that I will describe as a moving collage that will define a new genre of film & TV that I hope can finally bury the overbeaten dead horse of current reality television & be an example of true interactive multi-media art.

    My film will, as it is being made, simultaneously produce elements for another hyper-reality TV show. This show is a documentary of the unfoldment of The Viridian REVELution. The highlights & "hybrid" elements of this project are the documentation of the secret campaigns of PeaceFair as they occur before an unsuspecting public & press. It is for this reason that these events are top secret & known only to The Knight's of the Sphere Cabal, who along with The Merry Thanksters, TenetMen & PermaPunks will carry them out.

   The first Hyper-reality feature film of the Viridian REVELution - "Apocalypse Near" is written & is in pre-production. Two sequels wrote their way out of my fingers as soon as I fnished the first, so I now have a trilogy of feature films. Stay tuned I'll update this page with their progress. E.Haase 07/03/06
